A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches (Proverbs xxii.1.)

The title "Saara Aakash" was picked from a personal favourite in Hindi poetry:
Senani karo prayaan abhay, bhavi itihaas tumhara hai
Deep ama ke bujhte hain, saara aakash tumhara hai
Just to put the record straight, megalomania is not (yet) an affliction: "saara aakash" relates to the breadth of issues which this commentary will address. Reactions, comments and feedback are welcome.

"What's in a name......a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet..." was what Shakespeare taught us....but if you look around you, there's a lot to a name.

Some of the greatest brands in the world have everything to do with their name; Some of the greatest acquisitions in the world have involved payment for a brand name or equity which is quite intangible and which was much more than what the business was worth in books of accounts....like when Vodafone bought "Orange"..........

Brands have been known to lose their essence, vitality and marketability even when the name alone was changed. "Binaca" was not quite the same when it became "Cibaca"............

I too believe that it is important for anything- any venture, project, assignment, institution, just about anything under the sun to be appropriately named. The name itself should convey the essence and the spirit........and "Saara Aakash" rightly does so.
